Overnight ‘Special’ Oats - the Whole Family can Enjoy!

Wholesome, protein-rich, and delightfully simple!

There’s something magical about waking up to breakfast already made – especially when it’s packed with nourishing ingredients the whole family will love (even many of those fussy kiddos out there!). These Overnight 'Special' Oats are a creamy, satisfying, and subtly sweet way to start the day, and they’re perfect for busy mornings.

Infused with the goodness of quality protein, healthy fats, and gut-loving fibre & probiotics, this recipe has been a staple in our home—and it might just become one in yours too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½  cup rolled oats (certified gluten-free if needed)

  • ¾ cup coconut milk or A2 milk

  • ½ cup organic Greek-style yoghurt 

  • 1–3 ml vanilla extract (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ cup desiccated coconut

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of quality protein powder (we love Clean Lean Protein for its clean, plant-based profile)

  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup

Method:

  1. In a medium bowl or jar with a lid, combine all ingredients. Stir until smooth and evenly mixed.

  2. Cover and place in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4–6 hours).

  3. In the morning, give it a quick stir and enjoy chilled, or gently warm if you prefer.

  4. Garnish with extra desiccated coconut, nuts or seeds and some berries!
