Furikake Seasoning

Furikake is a savoury Japanese seasoning that is quick to make, even quicker to add to your dishes and packed full of nutrients that your hormones, thyroid & bones will love! With just a few simple steps, you can quickly make Furikake to add delicious flavour and wholesome nutrition to your dishes.

What You'll Need:

  • White and black unhulled sesame seeds
  • Dulse or wakame flakes
  • Celtic sea or Himalayan salt
  • Optional: chili flakes or shiitake powder

How to Prepare:

  1. Lightly grind sesame seeds & gently toast until slightly golden & fragrant.
  2. Lightly grind dulse or wakame flakes and chili flakes as needed to achieve a semi smooth consistency.
  3. Mix together with salt & if desired shiitake powder.
  4. Store in air-tight jar in fridge for up to 6 months.
  5. Add as seasoning to your favourite dishes or stock!
