5-minute Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Posted by Riannon Page on

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 1 cup raw almonds

  • 6 Medjool dates - pitted

  • 2 Tbsp cocoa nibs

  • ¼ cup chia seeds

  • ¼ cup hemp seeds

  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter (we used natural chocolate peanut butter)

  • 2 servings of your protein powder of choice (we use bovine collagen)

  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup

  • ¼ cup filtered water

  1. Start by blending your nuts until broken down & chunky (doesn't need to be fine as they will be blended again)

  2. Add in your pitted dates and blend again until all dates are broken down and mixed with your nuts

  3. Add in cocoa nibs, chia seeds, hemp seeds & peanut butter, blend again only for 2 seconds

  4. Add in maple syrup to make it sticky, and mix in well. This is when you might want to add in water, start with a teaspoon and mix the mixture with your hands, if it's not clumping add in more until you get the right consistency

  5. Separate the mixture and create balls in your hands.

  6. Add to a container in the fridge for 5 minutes to harden

  7. Enjoy!
