Savoury Slice!

Looking for a quick, delicious, and versatile recipe that’s perfect for any time of day?

This savoury slice is a fantastic option! It's easy to make, packed with veggies, and can be enjoyed as a breakfast, snack, or light meal. Plus, it’s adaptable to gluten-free diets!

What You'll Need:

Dry ingredients
  • 1 cup flour (can sub for GF flour)
  • 1.5tsp of baking powder 
  • 1/2tsp baking soda
  • Salt 
Wet ingredients 
  • 1 cup milk 
  • ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 egg 
  • ¼ cup cottage cheese 
  • Salt and pepper
  • Seasoning of your choice
Veggies
  • 1 zucchini - grated
  • 1 carrot - grated 
  • ¼ cup cherry tomato diced 
  • ½ red onion sliced

How to Prepare:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together, form a well and add in wet ingredients.
  3. Mix until combined.
  4. Add in your veggies and continue to mix.
  5. Add to a prepared tin loaf (alternatively use muffin trays) and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Stick a knife in the loaf to ensure it is cooked through.
  7. Enjoy!
