What You'll Need:

  • 1.5 cups almond flour 
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt 
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon 
  • 1/3 cup of honey 
  • 1/3 cup of tahini 
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup dark choc chips (optional)

How to Prepare:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, fan forced.
  2. In a medium bowl mix together the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  3. Next add all the wet ingredients and mix together well to form the cookie dough. If the mixture is crumbly, add a tablespoon or two of water.
  4. Add in the dark choc chips and stir through. 
  5. Pour sesame seeds onto a plate. Roll the dough into tablespoon sized balls. Coat the dough in sesame seeds and place on to the baking tray, evenly spread apart. Gently flatten the cookies using the palm of your hand.
  6. Bake the cookies for 12 -15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool on the tray for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Enjoy!
