Baked Oats

Start your day with these easy and nutritious baked oats! Packed with protein, fiber, and natural sweetness from ripe bananas and almond butter, this recipe is a perfect go-to for busy mornings or a post-workout snack. Simply blend the ingredients, add your favourite mix-ins like berries or dark chocolate, and bake to perfection. It's a healthy, satisfying meal that feels like a treat!

What You'll Need:

  • ½ cup rolled oats 
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 ripe banana 
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 serve protein powder 
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter of your choice) 
  • 4 tbsp almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey 
  • Optional mix-ins — berries, dark choc chips, coconut

How to Prepare:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a blender add all the ingredients (apart from your add-ons). Blend until all ingredients are mixed. 
  3. In a small ramekin or oven-safe mug add in a small amount of olive oil or coconut oil to grease. 
  4. Add in your blended ingredients to the ramekin and add your mix-ins.
  5. Add the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked all the way through.
  6. Enjoy!
